The rain from last week has brought some great fishing conditions with plenty of Bream, Whiting and Flathead being caught in the river. Large sized Bream have been caught in the woods bay and Sheraton bridge vicinity around the deeper holes and jetties. While Whiting have been everywhere up and down the river with the best spots being near the river mouth in the early morning and on the edges of Goat Island. Finally, Flathead have been caught in numbers with the dirtier waters from the Marina to the first lake being the best fishing for them. The next week should bring plenty of sunshine with some possible showers so get out on the water and enjoy the fishing.
