Young fisherman, John from Darwin scooped the prize with this nice Diamond Trevally he caught up near Lake Cooroibah on Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures tour
Rob Dawson up on a break with his family was chuffed when he landed this nice trevally whilst on an O Boat Hire pontoon.
Fishing was quite good with catches of trevally, bream and the odd tailor were sought at the Woods Bay, Frypan and Weyba Creek. Also there were mangrove jack, tarwine, bream and estuary cod up Weyba Creek and between the first ski run to the mouth of Lake Cooroibah. Whiting were slow but still a few good size in 3 to 5 feet of water on the sand banks of Noosa River.
Both tides are working and try lures, soft plastics for targeting flathead, trevally and bream, live herring for Jacks and worms for whiting. Drifting for flathead with baitfish in the Noosaville reaches should pay dividends also.
Just the odd shower about for most of the week but keep an eye on the swell from the forming cyclone afar for outside fishing.
Until next week good luck from the boys at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures.
Ersin from Sydney landed this nice Trevally on a recent fishing tour up Noosa River near Lake Cooroibah. There is good fishing throughout most the system so for hot tips ask the boys at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures or simply come on a charter.
Cristian from Brisbane and Bahren from Sydney showing off a nice pair of diamond trevally caught up Noosa River at one of our secret locations.

Everybody is raving over our secret recipe for our steamed crab tasting we serve on board each tour.
Ian Homes was tickled to land this nice diamond trevally when up on a boat hire from Brisbane last weekend.
Noosa River Fishing was steady this week with the best spots being inside the river mouth for whiting, bream, flathead and trevally as with the Fry-pan and Woods Bay. Weyba creek has seen catches of bream whiting, flathead and moses perch and bream and bream and whiting through the Noosaville reaches with a few mangrove jacks up between the lakes.
Live baits are getting the most action and fresh prawns if not or frogmouth pillies and white bait for larger species. Try and fish when either tide is on the run and not over the change of tides.
It looks another fantastic week for boating with just a shower or two towards the weekend and warm to hot days.
Until next week good luck from the boys Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures
