This week we’ve had some reports of good sized Whiting, Flathead, Bream and Mangrove Jack. Whiting and Bream have been mostly caught around the lower part of the river around the River mouth and the sound. Prawns and worms have been the most successful baits. Flathead have been in and around Goat Island and also on either side of the cable ferry. While some Mangrove Jack have been hanging around the outside of Sheep Island on the high tide with the early morning being the best time to get them. The next week should bring plenty of sunshine with a few showers and warm temperatures.
Until next week, Happy New Year and good luck from the boys at O Boats
