Great Fun, Great Food, Great Adventure... a Great Day!!!

Noosa River Fishing Weekly Report

Up from Sydney, Julie was delighted with her first fish ever on our Noosa Fishing and Crab adventure, a nice grunter bream too.

Whiting are in good numbers on the sand banks near the river mouth and on the run out tide at Munna Beach. There have been several flathead at the river mouth and Noosaville reaches too.

Trevally are active on the high tide in the Woods Bay and Lake Weyba and bream prevalent at the first lake.

Generally up around the first lake there are plenty of Pony fish being caught. They have a protruding mouth and are extremely slimy. We advise not to touch them or eat them and use a rag to unhook. Try live baits if you can get some or prawns if not.

South East Queensland is about the only place in Australia where its not raining to enjoy another great week on the water.

Until next week good luck from the boys Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures.
