Great Fun, Great Food, Great Adventure... a Great Day!!!

Weekly Fishing Report

When your having a fish there can be all sorts of bonuses that appear on your line. Darren from Rockhampton was stoked to land this nice mud crab on a recent Noosa Fishing and Crab tour.

Now the holidays are over the waterways are much quieter and the fish are not quite as timid.  There are good catches of whiting and bream on the sand banks around Munna Point and the river mouth and flathead can be caught on the drift in the Noosaville to Tewantin reaches. Good sized bream are in the deeper holes and around structures with prawns, mullet strips and gut good bait.

The runout tide in the dirtier waters are fishing best and further up river is recommended.  Try using live worms, yabbies or live baits if you can get some as the larger fish are still a bit picky.

Just the odd scattered shower forecast for most days this week with warm days around 27 to 28 perfect to enjoy a great day on the Noosa River.

Until next week good luck from the boys at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures2008-02-03 10.44.19-1200
