Noosa River Fishing report

Noosa River Fishing report
The river has been on fire again this week with plenty of fish caught at either end. There’s been a heap of Bream around again this week at both ends of the river with prawns being the gun bait to use. There has been reports of some good size Grunters hanging around the Munna point bridge and other structures. There has also been some nice Flathead caught again this week around the Noosa Marina and Lake Doonella Bridge. While Golden and Diamond Trevally have been a nice catch in the Noosa Sound and canal areas on the high tide. This week should bring plenty of sun again, while we will see a drop in temperature so remember to rug up if you’re heading out early or at night.

Noosa River Fishing report

This week we’ve seen some awesome fishing conditions with Bream, Flathead, and Trevally all being caught. Bream have been about everywhere, however the best spots to try are around jetties and structures such as the Sheraton Bridge. Prawns and worms have been the best bait to target the Bream again this week. There has been some good size Flathead caught as well this week with the rock wall near the dog beach and the inside of Goat Island on the run out tide being the best spots reported. Golden Trevally have been a good catch again in the Noosa Sound again with the high tide the best time for them. The next week should bring more great weather and hopefully great fishing once again!

Noosa River Fishing report

This week the river has seen a large amount of fish with Bream, Flathead, Trevally and Whiting all being caught. Bream have been caught pretty much anywhere in the river between the river mouth and the lakes. Prawns and worms have been the best bait to target the Bream this week. There has been some good size Flathead caught as well this week with the rock wall near the dog beach and either side of the ferry crossing good places to try for them. Golden and Diamond Trevally have been a good catch in the Noosa Sound again with the high tide the best time for them. And there has been some Whiting around this week on the run out tide with the edge of Goat Island a good spot for them. The next week should bring fine conditions and even better fishing.

Noosa River Fishing report

This week the river has seen a solid amount of fish with Bream, Flathead, Trevally and Mangrove Jack all being caught. Bream and Grunter have been the main catch again this week, with the Lake Doonella entrance and the surrounding area being the best place to try for them. Prawns have been the best bait to catch bream over the last few weeks. Flathead have been on the chew again in the upper parts of the river with anywhere from Goat Island to the start of Lake Cooroibah a chance of getting one, while there’s also been reports of some good ones caught along the rock wall near the dog beach. Golden and Diamond Trevally have been around on the full tides with Woods Bay their favourite spot. And there’s been reports of Mangrove Jack around the banks of Sheep Island. We may see a few showers heading into next week, which will hopefully bring good fishing again.

Noosa River Fishing report

This week there’s been plenty of fish around with Bream, Flathead and Trevally all being caught again. Bream have been most common at the river mouth will the incoming tide a more suitable time to catch them. You can still catch bream in most other spots however with reports of them up as far as the first lake. Some nice Flathead have been on the chew in the upper parts of the river with the shallow parts of Goat and Sheep Island being the best spots on the low tide. Golden and Diamond Trevally have also been some good catches this week with the full tide bringing a heap of them out around the Noosa Sound and river mouth areas. The next week will bring plenty of sun and fine weather and fishing conditions.

Noosa River Fishing report

It’s been another solid weeks fishing on the river with some good catches being reported. Bream, Flathead and Golden Trevally have been caught this week with the dirtier waters from the rain helping to produce some nice catches. Flathead have been most common up river with the ski run and cable ferry areas having the most luck. Bream can be found almost anywhere in the river from the first lake down to the river mouth with some good size grunters reported to be caught on prawns near Goat island. Good catches of Golden Trevally have been reported at the River mouth and Noosa Sound areas with the high tide being the best time to try for them. The next week we should be seeing a lot more sun and hopefully some cracking fishing will follow.

Noosa River Fishing Report

Heading into Easter the river has been throwing up some fantastic fishing conditions with plenty of Bream, Flathead, and Trevally being caught. There’s been plenty of Grunter Bream caught this week with the edges of Goat Island and the river mouth being the hotspots and prawns and worms being the best bait. Some good size Flathead have been hanging around the Ferry crossing and Makepeace Island. While Golden Trevally have been around the River Mouth and Noosa Sound areas, mostly on the high tide. The next week should bring great fishing conditions with a mix of sun and showers. We hope you have a Great Easter and catch plenty of fish over the holidays.

Noosa River Fishing report

This week we’ve seen some great fishing conditions with plenty of Bream being caught around the deeper holes and structures such as the Noosa marina and the Sheraton bridge. Prawns and worms have been the most successful bait to target Bream. Whiting have been on the chew this week in and around Goat Island, while some good size Flathead have been caught with reports of some up to 80cm between the ski run and the start of the first lake. There’s also been reports of some Golden Trevally in the woods bay vicinity with early morning and late afternoon being the best time to try your luck. The next week should bring plenty of sunshine with some partial cloud cover so it’s a good time to get out and about and hook a few.

Noosa River Fishing Report
This week the fishing has been steady with Bream, Flathead, Whiting, and Trevally all being caught. Whiting have been caught around Goat Island as well as the Noosa Marina. Woods bay and the surrounding area has seen lots of big Bream and Trevally on the high tide around the deeper holes with prawns being the best bait to use, while there has been reports of some good size Flathead near the river mouth and goat island areas. The forecast is clear skies throughout next week so it’s another week of great weather to get out, wet a line and have some fun on the water!

Noosa River Fishing report

The river has been firing again this week with plenty of Bream, Trevally and Flathead as well as the occasional whiting being caught. Bream as well as Grunter Bream have been caught in and around the deeper holes and structures such as the Sheraton Bridge on prawns and worms. While some good catches of Golden and Diamond Trevally have also been down river with the best spots being near the river mouth on the full tide. Finally, Flathead have been caught in numbers with the sandbags and rock wall near the dog beach being a good spot to fish for them, there’s also been reports of them up near the cable ferry. There has also been reports of Whiting around on the edge of Goat Island in the early morning and late afternoon. The next week should bring plenty of sunshine and some more great fishing conditions.
